CloudRaker is looking for an Art Director - Digital/Social to join our team of talented experience designers, storytellers, and content creators. Our ideal candidate is a highly gifted visual communicator who possesses a passion for social, a flair for design & typography and is constantly trying to improve their command of the media arts.

This position is available at our Toronto or Montreal Offices.

Your day to day will be...

Generate original creative ideas that resonate;

Provide artistic direction on an array of digital projects and mediums;

Provide artistic direction of photography, film, motion and graphic design of all creative projects; 

Work together with copywriters, strategist, media and account team;

Explore and experiment with new technology and tools for agency projects;

Collaborate closely with team members from various disciplines;

Supervise concepts and artwork as it rockets through the production process;

Present your work to clients with passion and enthusiasm; selling your ideas with conviction;

Innovate with new methods and technologies to connect with consumers in meaningful ways;

Pursue success like a bloodhound (without being a jerk about it);

You have...

Minimum of 5 years in a similar role in an agency;

Deep experience working in content creation;

Ability to develop social content based on a well thought out calendar and in the moment on the fly;

Experience working across all platforms/channels and deep understanding of the nuances of communicating on each channel;

Exposure to working on 360 campaigns (TV or online film, out of home, web campaigns, social);

A portfolio brimming with great creative ideas;

Strong understanding of the design process;

Black belt-level expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects (and film editing skills wouldn’t hurt);

Excellent communication skills (French would be a big bonus);

The ability to juggle multiple projects and know how to prioritize;

Experience with retail clients (nice-to-have);
